Maine Natural Oils:: Who and where we are

There are no additives to Maine Natural Oils.

One of the goals of MNO is to provide an alternate and profitable crop for our County farmers.

Maine Natural Oils are all made from crops grown on family farms in Aroostook County.

Maine Natural Oils are a hand made product. We are enthusiastic supporters of the local food movement.

Maine Natural Oils is the Northern New England dealer for the AgOil press line of equipment.

Maine Natural Oils, LLC, is a new company formed by four Aroostook entrepreneurs: John Cancelarich, Peter Sexton, Steve DeMaio and Doug Callnan. Among us, we have skills in agronomy and local food production, manufacturing and plant management, organic gardening, and agricultural product marketing.

Aroostook, known in Maine simply as “the County,” is larger than Connecticut and Rhode Island combined, with a population of only 70,000. Aroostook has always been a center of agriculture and forestry in Maine. We still have a good number of family farms, though certainly fewer over the years. One of the goals of MNO is to provide an alternate and profitable crop for our County farmers.
